I am a writer and researcher on international environmental and human rights issues. I have over a decade’s experience in these areas, and worked for many years with the International Forum on Globalization. I’ve also interned with the Congressional Research Service, the U.S. State Department, and the Institute for Policy Studies.
I currently chair the Sierra Club’s Trade & Worker’s Rights Team and am on the board of the Women’s Environmental Network, in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2009 I was selected to join a Sierra Club study tour to India to document critical women’s issues facing the country. That trip, plus previous trips to India where I came across amazing people and sights, inspired me to begin this blog.
